At 12:30 Ben woke up crying with croup. He could not breathe. He did not sleep. So, at 3:30 am we took him into the ER and they gave him a shot of steroids. We left the hospital at 5:30. Nic and I went to McDonald’s drive through. We walked in the door at 6:00 a.m. and Jack was in the bathroom, wide eyed and bushy tailed and ready for the day. We turned on cartoons and went to sleep… for an hour anyway.
